Three things you don't want to miss
Hi friends,
This is a quickie mid-month post before my longer, subscriber-only post lands next week to share a couple of announcements.
Workshop – last chance!
Final call for my workshop, which is THIS Sunday, 2–4pm at MoreYoga Winchmore Hill. I’m very excited to share with you different yoga and yoga-inspired poses to help release the neck and shoulders – I definitely suffer from tension in this part of my body, and have found a lot of relief (from headaches too) this way.
Gentle vinyasa and somatics-inspired movements to open up and stretch the neck and upper body – with simple practices that you can do at home, at your desk!
Yin stretches that you can add to the end of your day before going to bed, including my ultimate favourite, yin fish, which to me feels like the best part of a massage (and reminds me slightly of a Simpson’s episode where Homer finds the ultimate spine relief – if you know, you know 😜)
Yoga nidra for the best end to the weekend
Winchmore Hill is just 15 minutes from Finsbury park on the train, and easy to get to also from Old Street (for the Northern line) and Highbury (Victoria line).
Would love to see you there! If the price is an issue of course do drop me a note.
Embodied writing
I’m finally planning my embodied writing workshop (or workshop series, this is TBC), which will use yoga nidra (a guided meditation practice) to spark creativity and tap into the body and the unconscious. Sign up for the interest list and be the first to know (plus special discount for the interest list and for paid subscribers).
In the news
Looks like I’m not the only one geeking out over the immune system and its effects on ageing. Check out this article, where I share my tips on how to use yoga for a healthy and longer-lived immune system.
